Bet you can’t guess what we had for supper tonight…
I had a couple of VERY happy customers on my hands 🙂
My girl had an eye appointment last week and since we didn’t have little brother along, we made a girls day of it. I may have mentioned a time or two how much I love spending time with my Ava 🙂
Anyway, after her last appointment (six months ago) I knew it was probably time for new glasses and she was SUPER excited about the prospect of picking them out. Her one preference was that they should be pink…surprise, surprise. Ava’s appointment went well, she made lots of new friends of course. Her prescription changed just a little with her left eye needing a little stronger lens. She does have to go back in three months because there is a possibility of her needing bifocals. Say what? My four year old needs BIFOCALS? Yep, that’s exactly what my reaction was. It’s not for sure yet (that’s why we go back in three months) and my understanding is they are for the opposite reason that most people wear them. They would actually keep her eyes from wanting to cross. So…we’ll cross that bridge if or when we come to it.
After Miss Ava’s appointment, we headed to the mall,
did some shopping, and shared a plate of chinese, which was her pick from all the options at the food court (I was happy since that is what sounded good to me too). Here’s my lunch buddy:
Although, I mostly saw this view since she was so busy people watching.
After an exhausting day of being a lady, what’s a girl to do…
Yep, just plop down in the pool…dress and all! It’s good being a girl 🙂
Oh, and we picked up the new PINK glasses today…
Adorable…with a capital A!
