Ava-isms

While Ava is Queen of the repeat…Oh.my.word is she ever…she is also the most random person I have ever met.  All of her quotes happen at completely random moments and there is no making sense of that little mind.  You just never know with Ava 🙂

(Sorry the quality of these photos are so bad. I took them with my cell phone as my regular camera is needing to be replaced)

  • “What a shame!”
  • “I want to be a mom someday”  Me: “Really Ava, why?”  Ava: “So I can do my own hair.  And I want to learn how to drive.”
  • “I treated myself to some water.”
  • “So Mom, would you like to be a bird someday”  Me: “Ummm, I’m not sure.  Do you Ava'”  Ava: “Yes.  Because it’s hard being a little girl.”
  • Me: “What’s your tummy sayin’ Ava?”  Ava: “It’s like…Blub, Blub, Blub, Blub.”
  • “Instead of just climbing way up in that tree and jumping down, I’m gonna fly way up in the sky, up to the moon!” (Runs away, then comes back) “Where’s my balloon?  Cause I wanna bring it outside so I can float way up to the moon!”
  • “I really REALLY want to be a mom someday”  Me: “Why’s that Ava?”  Ava: “Well, so I could push Linc in the swing and go in the front yard and spray the flowers and jump in the hot tub and go inside the house and get clean clothes on and go straight to bed.  That’s what I want to do when I grow up and be a mom.”
  • “God and Jesus stick together.”
  • “Hey Mom.  Do we have any candy canes?”  Me: “Why Honey?”  Ava: “Cause I am so hungry.”
  • “Alright Captain Mom!”
  • After her Aunt Bethany read her a book before nap time and told her I love you, Ava said: “I love you more…obviously…so how about no naps.”

  • “UHHH…I just don’t know how to cook…or read.  And now I’m talking to you.  Why am I talking to you?  Cause I just don’t know how to cook…or read.”
  • We were at the park the other day and Ava referred to herself in the third person…“Whew!  Ava is worn out!  Ava needs to take a little break.  Ava needs to catch her breath!”  2.5 seconds later “Ava” was off and running again 🙂
  • “Hello Mrs. Mom!”
