Crazy!

I’m finally starting to feel more energetic these days.  And by energetic I mean I don’t feel like I could shut my eyes and fall immediately to sleep every second of every day!

So, I told the kids today that all mom’s like to have nice pictures of their kids…not sure why, we just do…so we were going to go out and attempt it and it would be a super amazing gift to me if they would cooperate.  They did surprisingly well with that pep-talk, and we had a good time and got some decent photos too!

I realize dressing up four kids and taking them out in public to take pictures…by myself…is a little crazy.  And by a little, I mean a LOT!  But, I never claimed I wasn’t crazy 🙂  And who knows…maybe I’ll be even more crazy and actually get out Christmas cards this year!  But I’m kinda exhausted…so I’ll think about that another day.

With Them Wednesday….err….Thursday

I had great intentions of posting this yesterday (hence the title)…but, blogging has been shoved pretty far down on my priority list lately and I’m OK with that.  With that said, it is not my intention to quite blogging.  Nope.  But will I get more consistent?  Doubtful.  Why you ask?  Because of this…and this…But I do want to find the balance of spending time actually in the moments and taking the time to document them.  Part of that is trying to put in “With Them Wednesday” posts when I can.  Theme days seems to be popular in blog-land.  Actually, I think it’s been popular for a while but I’m not a big fad joiner…at least not right away.  And this idea I stole from a blog a while ago and I don’t even remember which blog it was.  But I do remember it and I thought it was a great idea to remind myself to get in front of the camera occasionally and not just point it…well lets face it (wow, I didn’t even mean to make that pun!)…mostly at my kids.

So here’s my first “With Them Wednesday”…err…Thursday….oops….and now it’s officially Friday.
