  1. So glad you’re home! PTL indeed! Jess, it’s so good to know that someone else’s child was playing in animal poop yesterday……..sometimes you gotta take it all in stride. As your mom – in – law would say: pick your battles, girl, pick your battles.
This was the first “big boy” pic we’ve seen of Lincoln and boy is he a cutie. Such beautiful kiddos you two have. Enjoy your time at home. I’ve been using your tag-line about rejoicing day by day as I renew my mind and control my thought life. It helps bring the perspective where it needs to be when you choose to rejoice over all things, especially the little things. Thanks for the thought!
Well, the pics looked like you and Ava enjoyed the beautiful sunshine up north – it’s gorgeous down here too. We would be swimming right now if my two older boys had not made some poor choices in the grocery store – see, Ava’s not the only one who’s mommy posts about her indiscretions. 🙂 Charlie tells them, “Not s’pose to do to others what you no want them do to you.” Gotta love it – now if Charlie will just do it himself, the little hypocrite!
Praying for Lincoln’s toothers. Hopefully he’s done for a while and you can get a few winks. Praying for you, girl! Praying Jesus will give you all the love you need to take care of that man of yours and those precious babies.
    Lots of love!

  2. God is sooooooooo good! I can’t tell you how excited I am for all of you. I am up in Menomonee w/my friend Anna and we checked the blog this morning and loved all the new pics Jess. Josiah you are definitely just as handsome without hair as you were with!!!! Besides it just reminds me of how you started this life and I used to love rubbing your little bald head all the time. (Sorry reminiscing is a popular thing for me to do these days.) Wow I can’t believe how Lincoln has changed since I saw him in December. He is quite the young man and I hope he takes a break from teething for your sake Jess during the upcoming week in Iowa City. You are constantly in our prayers and can’t wait for the day when we can see you and hug you all. Ps. 31:19, 23 & 24.

Love & blessings, Uncle Doug & Aunt Karan

Just wanted you to know that I’m praying for you! You and your family are in the prayers of many people I know. I’m so glad we serve the God of Gods and the King of Kings. He, alone, is the great Physician and has the strength and grace for each new day. I love you!
