I don’t have any fancy words tonight. I’m too exhausted for that. Josiah is back in the hospital with low blood counts and pain…again. It’s been a long and frustrating day, but Josiah is resting comfortably in his room at Methodist hospital and that is what’s important at this point. I have to say, that with all the medical professionals that I have met, I am thankful that the majority of them have been good at what they do and compassionate for their patients. But there have been a few (and I won’t mention any names, but we had one today who was someone we don’t normally work with), that just don’t seem to have a clue as to what they are doing. This can be extremely frustrating when you are trying to get your point across and are getting no where. It makes me appreciate so much more the wonderful medical staff that God has provided for both Josiah and Ava…we are very blessed!
I’m sure I will update more soon. I just wanted to get a quick update out before I hit the sack.
As I was reading in Psalms today these verses jumped out at me and reminded me of you 🙂
Psalm 29:8,9
the Lord is their strength and He is a saving defense to His anointed. Save Thy people and bless Thine inheritance: Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever.
I can just picture Jesus carrying you through this. Rest in His strong and gentle arms today.
I love you!
Aunt Chelle
I am sure you feel like you are on a rollercoaster. We are praying for both of you. Phyllis
May Abba bring you peace…and great rest for you all. Love to you! Rhonda
We will pray for doctors and nurses who are well trained, especially in listening! Blessings to you for a good nights sleep and higher counts, no pain tomorrow!
Big hugs!
Thanks for the updates. I will pray that you all sleep well tonight. And have strength for tomorrow. As I was running today I heard the song, Praise You In the Storm by FFH. It reminded me of you and how you are continually praising Him.
The chorus as I remember it goes…
“I will praise you in the storm, and I will lift my hands, for you are who you are, no matter where I am. And every tear I cry you hold in your hand, you’ve never left my side-and though me life is torn, I will praise you in the storm.”
Praying….
We’re praying for a quick rise in blood counts so that you both can be back home SOON! May the Lord provide you with wise, caring & understanding doctors. May you both feel His peace and strength as Josiah is dealing with the horrible pain and you both are needing rejuvinating rest. We love you 2! Our thoughts and prayers are with you ALWAYS!!! Hugs~
I’m sure you are both worn out and exhausted, but thanks for taking the time to update us on your blog, it’s a great way for us to specifically pray for you both and the kids. May the Lord give you the strength to get through this day.
